WMC member Maureen Eppstein's latest poetry collection has been accepted for publication by Main Street Rag Press, a fairly important independent publisher. Publication is planned for spring 2020. The collection, tilted Horizon Line, is something of a retrospective. It merges observations of nature with reflections on aging.
“With keen eyes on the horizons of memory, Maureen Eppstein brings us the essentials of ‘music at the daylight’s edge,’” says Sonoma County Poet Laureate Maya Khosla of Maureen’s new poetry collection, Horizon Line. Pre-publication orders can now be placed at http://mainstreetragbookstore.com/product/horizon-line-maureen-eppstein/
There will be a virtual book signing through Gallery Bookshop on May 30th from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
In the meantime, Gallery Bookshop is taking pre-orders for the new book. If you'd like to request a personalized inscription from Maureen, please use the comments box at the bottom of the checkout screen to let them know what you'd like written.

WMC member Donald Shephard's latest novel is now available.
Ginny Rorby, author of Hurt Go Happy, Freeing Finch and other MG/YA novels said this:
"Shephard’s raw and unflinching narrative, Etu, named for an Inuit woman born about the time Europeans sought the Northwest Passage, spans her lifetime and her rise to tribal shaman. She matures, marries, bears children and survives the privations of Arctic winters unaware of the impact of European diseases. Guided by her Polar Bear spirit guide, she navigates these troubling times, utilizing every meager gift from Sedna, the god of her people. A great read."

Etu is now available on Amazon.
