WORKSHOP BY WRITER JEAN HEGLAND - JANUARY 9TH  9:00 a.m. to noon

Mendocino College Fort Bragg Center, 1211 Del Mar Drive, Fort Bragg, CA 95437

MAKING THE MOST OF CONFLICT
Almost every successful story is fueled by conflict. This workshop will use brief lectures, lively discussions, and supportive writing exercises to explore how writers of fiction and memoir can take full advantage of the opportunities for story-telling, plot formation, and character development that conflict provides.

The Saturday workshop is $25 for California Writers Club members (any branch) and $35 for non-members. Open to all. Writers of the Mendocino Coast, Mendocino College, and Gallery Bookstore are co-sponsors.

Jean will also be reading at Gallery Bookstore on Friday, January 8th at 6:30pm.
