Bring paper and pen/pencil! Excerpts from two examples of poems about November: "November" by prizewinning poet, editor, & teacherMaggie Dietz (stanzas 1 & 2) "Show's over, folks. And didn't October do A bang-up job? Crisp breezes, full-throated cries Of migrating geese, low-floating coral moon // "Nothing left but fool's gold in the trees. Did I love it enough, the full-throttle foliage. While it lasted? Was I dazzled? POETRY WRITING WORKSHOPS The workshops include samples of the various styles and techniques of poetry writing, displays of published works, in-session writing exercises along with readings and discussions of individual works produced during the workshops. Every third Wednesday of the month, 2-3:30 pm, find your hidden poet within! Workshops are free. All ages are welcome. Visit the library site for more.
